Yerkebulan Daiyrov
Yerkebulan Muratovich Daiyrov, born on August 12, 1986, in the village of Karasaz in the Raimbek District of Kazakhstan's Almaty Region, has made significant strides in the world of performing arts. He completed his studies at the T. K. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts in 2008, focusing on Musical Theater and Variety Arts.
Since 2006, Daiyrov has been a prominent actor at the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater, where his talent has shone through in numerous productions. His dedication to the craft has earned him various accolades, including the esteemed "Serper" Youth Union Prize in 2013, the Baurzhan Momyshuly "Namys" Order in 2015, and he was honored with the title of Honored Artist of Kazakhstan in 2018.
Daiyrov gained international acclaim in 2021 when he was awarded the "Best Asian Actor" at the Cannes Film Festival for his compelling performance in the film *Sunflower*, directed by Eli Gilman. In addition to his cinematic achievements, he has appeared in notable films such as *Kash* (2022), *The Way of the Leader: Astana* (2018), and *Amre* (2018).
On a personal note, Daiyrov married fellow actress Leila Muratovna Tleuova on July 25, 2014. They have welcomed three children into their family: daughters Kausar (born March 23, 2015) and Salima (born May 5, 2019), and a son, Bauyrzhan (born November 16, 2022).
