Pevita Pearce, born on October 6, 1992, in Jakarta, Indonesia, is a talented actress with a diverse heritage, boasting Banjar and Welsh roots—her mother hails from Banjarmasin while her father is from Wales.

Pevita gained early recognition in the film industry when she received a Citra Award nomination for Best Actress at just 16 years old for her role in the film *Lost in Love* (2008). This achievement made her the youngest nominee in the history of the Indonesian Film Festival for a leading acting accolade, surpassing the previous record held by Laudya Cynthia Bella, who was nominated at 17 for *Virgin*. Although her record was later matched by other young actresses in the following years, her early accomplishment remains a significant milestone in Indonesian cinema.
