Sarah Corbett Lynch

1 title Acting Limerick, Ireland

Sarah Corbett Lynch is a prominent advocate for bereaved children and victims' rights, recognized as one of the youngest authors in Irish history. Born in Ireland, Sarah faced profound loss early in life when her mother passed away shortly after her birth. At the age of four, her family relocated to the United States following her father's remarriage. Tragically, Sarah and her older brother Jack became orphans when their father, Jason Corbett, was murdered by their stepmother, Molly Martens, and her father, Tom Martens, in August 2015. After this heartbreaking event, the siblings returned to Ireland to live with Jason’s sister, Tracey, and her husband, Dave.

This personal tragedy fueled Sarah’s commitment to advocate for bereaved children and victims of violent crime, leading her to champion these causes in both the US and Ireland. At just 13, she authored "Noodle Loses Dad," an illustrated book designed to assist children in navigating grief and loss. The book has gained recognition and is utilized by children's rights organizations, educational professionals, and counseling services as a vital resource.

In recognition of her impactful work, Sarah received a special National Garda Síochána award and a tribute as Limerick Young Person of the Year. A native of Limerick and currently residing in County Clare, she is also an accomplished singer, dancer, and actor. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she is a certified swim teacher and lifeguard, with a passion for snorkeling, surfing, and swimming in the sea.
