Park Ji-min, more widely recognized as Jimin, was born on October 13, 1995, in South Korea. He is a prominent singer, songwriter, record producer, and dancer affiliated with BigHit Music and is a key member of the globally acclaimed boy band BTS.

Jimin's musical journey includes the release of three notable solo tracks with BTS: "Lie" (2016), "Serendipity" (2017), and "Filter" (2020), all of which achieved significant success on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. He further showcased his artistry with two self-penned digital singles, "Promise" (2018) and "Christmas Love" (2020). In 2022, he collaborated with Ha Sung-woon on the duet "With You," featured in the soundtrack for the popular drama Our Blues.

In 2023, Jimin made a significant mark on the music scene with his debut solo album, Face. It topped the charts in South Korea and Japan and reached number two on the US Billboard 200, establishing him as the highest-charting Korean solo artist on that chart. His single "Like Crazy" made history as the first debut from a Korean solo artist to reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, he became the first Korean soloist to lead the Billboard Artist 100 chart. He followed this success in 2024 with his sophomore album, Muse, featuring the lead single "Who," which also debuted at number one on the Billboard Global 200.

For his impactful contributions to Korean culture, Jimin, along with his BTS bandmates, received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea in 2018.
