Aaron Munoz
Aaron Muñoz is a multifaceted talent in the performing arts, known for his roles as an actor, playwright, producer, and educator. His acting career spans a wide range of prestigious theaters across the United States, including The Actors Theatre of Louisville, Geva Theater Center, and the Merrimack Repertory Theatre, among others. Munoz has also showcased his talents at various Shakespeare festivals, including those in Georgia, Lake Tahoe, Alabama, Nashville, and First Folio.
In the realm of television and film, he has made notable appearances in productions such as *Stranger Things*, *The Walking Dead*, *Cadillac Records*, and *CBGB*. He also wrote and directed *Tennis Tips with Freddy Love*, which was featured at the Nashville Film Festival.
A distinguished playwright, Munoz co-wrote *Lost Laughs: The Slapstick Tragedy of Fatty Arbuckle*, which premiered at the Merrimack Repertory Theatre, and co-created *2 Households, 2 Assholes: Shakespeare’s R & J*, showcased at the SoHo Playhouse during the New York International Fringe Festival. He is the founding Artistic Director of Nashville Story Garden, a platform dedicated to nurturing original film, theater, and media projects.
As an educator, Munoz has imparted his knowledge at several institutions, including Middle Tennessee State University and Lipscomb University. Originally from Kansas City, he began his performance journey with the Lighten Up Improv Company and honed his skills at The Second City Conservatory. He holds a BA from Columbia College Chicago and an MFA from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival's professional actor training program, having been mentored by prominent figures in the industry.
