Jodi Knotts
Jodi Knotts embarked on her journey in the performing arts in 1982, honing her craft in San Francisco under the guidance of renowned theater instructor Jean Shelton, shortly after completing her studies at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, California. Over the years, Jodi has graced numerous esteemed stages in both San Francisco and Los Angeles, showcasing her remarkable talent in a wide array of theatrical productions.
Her career took a significant leap forward after obtaining her Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card in 1986. In the two decades that followed, Jodi made notable appearances in acclaimed television series and films, including iconic shows like *Seinfeld* (1989), *Friends* (1994), *Murphy Brown* (1988), and *ER* (1994), as well as films such as *Junior* (1994) and *An American Reunion* (2003).
In partnership with her husband, actor Jim Fitzpatrick, Jodi co-founded Five Star Studios, Inc., where they produced a variety of one- and two-act plays. Their creative endeavors caught the attention of film and television producers, leading them to develop TV pilots like *Godparent$* and *Right Hand Man*, and expand into feature films.
Recently, Jodi and her family relocated to Florida's West/Central Coast to establish new studios and continue their film production pursuits. Her passion for entertainment was inspired by her father, Ed Knotts, a performer on *The Dodge Dancing Party* (1955), and her cousin, the legendary Don Knotts. Throughout her career, Jodi has had the privilege of working alongside many renowned figures, including Robin Williams, Glenn Close, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
