Cara Jade Myers
Cara Jade Myers, a proud member of the Wichita tribe, was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and grew up in Prescott Valley. Inspired by a rich artistic legacy—her grandfather, Bobby Hill, was a prominent painter known as White Buffalo, and her grandmother was a celebrated beader whose creations are part of the Smithsonian collection—Myers developed a deep passion for the arts early on. She discovered her love for acting and dedicated herself to honing her craft, commuting over four hours daily to attend acting classes, an experience she credits with preparing her for the rigors of the Los Angeles entertainment scene.
In 2011, Myers relocated to Southern California, where she further embraced her passion for storytelling and writing. She participated in the 4th Annual Native American Writers Lab and was recognized as a semi-finalist in the ABC/Disney writers program that same year. In 2020, she was one of twelve writers selected for A3 Artist Agency's The Colony program, where she developed a television pilot now in production. She also completed the year as a Fellow of the Native American Feature Film Writers’ Lab. Myers has appeared in notable television series, including NBC’s acclaimed “This Is Us” and “Rutherford Falls.”
Currently, she is working on two scripts in development, a documentary in production, and a feature film in preproduction. Beyond her creative work, Myers founded CRASH Cares, an initiative dedicated to providing care packages for the homeless in Hollywood. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Josh, and their dog.
