Kim Matula

Kim Matula, born in Fort Worth, Texas, began her journey in acting at the tender age of 12. By 15, she secured representation after sending out her headshots, which marked the beginning of her professional career. Upon finishing high school, Matula pursued film studies at the University of Texas at Arlington but soon left school to chase her burgeoning acting dreams.

In 2008, she gained early recognition with a role in the TV movie *Queen Sized* and a recurring part in the series *Pink* (2007). Following her move to Los Angeles the next year, Matula joined the cast of the iconic soap opera *The Bold and the Beautiful* (1987), taking on the role of Hope Logan, the youngest daughter of the beloved character Brooke Logan, portrayed by Katherine Kelly Lang. Her portrayal quickly garnered attention, leading to her becoming a central figure in the series from 2012 to 2014.

During her time on the show, Matula received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, highlighting her talent and dedication. Ultimately, she chose not to renew her contract, departing the series in December 2014 to explore new opportunities in her acting career.
