Chögyam Trungpa was a prominent Tibetan Buddhist meditation master, renowned for his deep understanding of both the Kagyu and Nyingma traditions. As the 11th incarnation of the Trungpa tülkus, he played a crucial role in preserving and propagating Tibetan Buddhism. He was also recognized as a tertön, an individual who reveals hidden teachings, and served as the supreme abbot of the Surmang monasteries.
