Cosme Castro
Cosme Castro is a French actor, director, and screenwriter, born on March 3, 1986, in Ivry-sur-Seine. He is the son of Chilean director Oscar Castro and English actress Susan Heyman, which immersed him in the performing arts from an early age, particularly at the Théâtre Aleph in Ivry-sur-Seine. In 2008, he adopted the pseudonym Pablo Nicomedes but has since returned to using his birth name for his professional endeavors.
In 2006, he co-founded the Big Purple Van Club, an innovative mobile concert venue recognized as the smallest in the world. Castro’s creative pursuits also extend to radio, where he collaborated with Mathias Pradenas to produce a monthly science fiction radio series titled "Purple UFO," which aired on Radio Campus Paris from 2008 to 2009.
In 2011, he established a new cultural organization, Les Labos Cinégénétiques, aimed at developing cinematic projects. This initiative reflects his commitment to fostering artistic collaboration and exploration in film. Throughout his career, Cosme Castro has made significant contributions to both theater and film, demonstrating a versatile talent that continues to evolve within the arts.
