Vidhya Pradeep

Vidya Pradeep is a talented Indian actress known for her work in both Tamil and Malayalam cinema. She holds a Master's degree in biotechnology and began pursuing a PhD at a prominent eye hospital in Chennai, focusing on stem cell biology. Balancing her scientific career with her passion for acting, Vidya successfully navigates both worlds.

Her journey in the entertainment industry began with modeling for various commercials, which led to her discovery by director Vijay. He cast her in the acclaimed family drama film, Saivam (2014), where she portrayed the mother of Sara Arjun, making a significant impact by gaining weight to authentically depict a middle-aged character. Following this success, Vidya took on the leading role in the action drama Adhibar (2015), starring opposite Jeevan.
