Mary Kay Adams is a talented American actress celebrated for her impactful performances on television. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of India von Halkein on the long-running soap opera "Guiding Light," and she earned a dedicated fanbase as Na'Toth during the second season of the acclaimed science fiction series "Babylon 5."

Adams was born and raised in Middletown Township, New Jersey, where she completed her high school education at Mater Dei High School in 1979. She furthered her studies at Emerson College, where she was an active member of the Sigma Pi Theta sorority, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

In addition to her prominent roles, Adams made memorable guest appearances on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," portraying the character Grilka in the episodes "The House of Quark" and "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places."
