Mark Lee Ping-bing (李屏賓), born on August 8, 1954, in Taiwan, is a distinguished cinematographer, photographer, and author who has made significant contributions to the film industry. With an impressive portfolio of over 70 films, Lee has garnered 21 international accolades, including two prestigious Glory of the Country Awards from Taiwan's Government Information Office and the Light of the Cinema Award from the President of Taiwan.
Lee embarked on his cinematic journey in 1977, marking the beginning of a remarkable career. In 1985, he formed a notable partnership with acclaimed Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-hsien, which led to a series of influential films that showcased Lee’s exceptional talent.
