Michael Herbig, born on April 29, 1968, in Munich, is a prominent German comedian, filmmaker, actor, voice actor, and author, widely recognized by his stage name, Michael Bully Herbig. His nickname, "Bully," is derived from the Volkswagen Bully, a beloved van in Germany.
Herbig's journey in entertainment began in 1992 with his engaging presence on radio, where he made over 800 appearances. He soon transitioned to television, achieving national fame as the creator, writer, and star of the comedy series "Bullyparade." The show, which featured a cast including his close friend Rick Kavanian and actors Christian Tramitz and Diana Herold, showcased a variety of comedic sketches, including parodies of cultural stereotypes and classic genres.
