Jonathan Patrick Foo

Jonathan Patrick Foo, born on October 30, 1982, is a talented English actor, martial artist, and stuntman with a unique heritage that blends Chinese and Irish roots. Raised in London, he is the son of a Chinese father from Singapore and an Irish mother from England, along with a little sister and two half-sisters from his father's side. His family's frequent relocations shaped his upbringing, while his father's karate background and his mother's judo skills ignited his passion for martial arts. At the age of eight, he began his journey in kung fu, progressing to serious wushu training by the age of 15. Now residing in Los Angeles, he has carved out a niche for himself in the action film genre.

Foo's martial arts expertise has led him to appear in several notable films, including "Tom-Yum-Goong" (known in the U.S. as "The Protector"), "Batman Begins," "House of Fury," "Left for Dead," and "Life" (Shi cha qi xiao shi). He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Jin Kazama in the 2010 live-action adaptation of "Tekken." Additionally, he played Ryu in the short film "Street Fighter: Legacy" and appeared as a first-generation soldier in "Universal Soldier: Regeneration" (2010).
