Pedro Winter, born Pierre Winter on April 21, 1975, in Paris, France, is a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, recognized as a record producer, DJ, and the founder of Ed Banger Records. Winter, who is also known by his stage name Busy P, made significant contributions to music both as an artist manager and a label owner. He managed the iconic duo Daft Punk from 1996 until 2008, playing a pivotal role in their rise to fame.

Winter's journey into music began in his youth, influenced by a diverse range of genres including heavy metal, hip-hop, and rock, with the Beastie Boys being his all-time favorite band. He discovered electronic music in 1992 alongside his brother, Thomas Winter, and soon began DJing at various venues, including the What's Up Bar.

In 2003, Pedro established Ed Banger Records, a label that became synonymous with the French electronic music movement, signing renowned artists such as Justice, SebastiAn, and DJ Mehdi. He first made waves with Mr. Flash's "Radar Rider" and continued to release hits from artists like Uffie and Mr. Oizo.

Beyond his label work, Winter contributed to Phoenix's debut album, "United," and his remix of Fancy's "What's Your Name Again" became a club favorite. He was previously married to Nadege Winter, who led public relations at the famed Paris boutique Colette, and his brother, Thomas, is also deeply involved in the music scene as a vocalist.
