Eom Ji-yoon
Eom Ji-yoon is a talented South Korean comedian and YouTuber, recognized for her vibrant humor and engaging content. She burst onto the comedy scene in 2018, making her debut at the 32nd KBS Open Recruitment Gag Concert, and has since earned the title of the youngest comedian at KBS. Although her previous YouTube channel was shut down in late 2021, Eom quickly adapted and launched a new personal channel called “Umjirella” a year later. On this platform, she cleverly parodies the extravagant lifestyles of celebrities, showcasing her comedic flair. Additionally, she collaborated with fellow comedians Kim Won Hoon and Jo Jin Se on another YouTube channel named “Shortbox,” further solidifying her presence in the digital space.
Eom's career took a significant turn with the formation of “MSG Wannabe,” a project initiated by Yoo Jae-suk during the popular show “Hangout with Yoo.” Following the group's success, Yoo conceived a female counterpart, and Eom Ji-yoon was chosen as one of the 12 members of “WSG Wannabe.” This opportunity has allowed her to reach a broader audience and display her versatility as a performer in both comedy and music. With her growing popularity and innovative approach, Eom Ji-yoon continues to make a mark in the entertainment industry.
