Inge Keller
Inge Keller (December 15, 1923 – February 6, 2017) was a distinguished German actress celebrated for her extensive contributions to stage and film over a remarkable seven-decade career. Renowned as one of the leading figures in the former German Democratic Republic, she was hailed by director Thomas Langhoff as "perhaps the most famous actress of the German Democratic Republic—a star," while Deutschlandradio Kultur's Dieter Kranz referred to her as "a theater legend."
Keller gained international recognition for her role as the older Lilly Wust in the critically acclaimed film Aimée & Jaguar, which earned a Golden Globe nomination. Her exceptional talent was further acknowledged when she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 36th International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival for her performance in the film Lola and Billy the Kid.
