2 titles Acting Sep 28, 1958 Palermo, Italy

Aldo Baglio, born Cataldo Baglio in Palermo to a humble family with roots in San Cataldo, Calabria, made a significant transition to Milan in 1961. He honed his craft at the Teatro Arsenale, graduating from acting school, and by the early 1980s, he began his stand-up comedy journey alongside Giovanni Storti, leading to the formation of the comedic duo known as I Suggestionabili ("the suggestibles").

In 1985, Baglio's career took a notable turn when he began performing at the Palmasera Village Resort in Cala Gonone, Sardinia, alongside a talented cast that included Marina Massironi and Giacomo Poretti. This period saw the rise of a new generation of Italian comedians, including Stefano Belisari, Giorgio Porcaro, and Mario Zucca, many of whom were linked to Baglio's comedy group. The same year, he, Poretti, and Storti established the iconic comedy trio "Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo," originally branded as "Galline Vecchie Fan Buon Brothers."

In addition to his work in the trio, Baglio collaborated with the renowned comedy rock band Elio e le storie tese, lending his voice to the track "Mio cuggino" from their 1996 album "Eat the Phikis," where he humorously narrates urban legends. His foray into voice acting began in 2006 with the Italian dub of the French film "Mauvais esprit," and he also appeared in Giuseppe Tornatore's film "Baarìa," further showcasing his versatility in the entertainment industry.
