Bob Einstein
Stewart Robert Einstein (November 20, 1942 – January 2, 2019) was a distinguished American actor, comedy writer, and producer, renowned for his sharp wit and unique comedic characters. He is best remembered for originating the beloved stuntman persona, Super Dave Osborne, a satirical character that showcased his flair for physical comedy. Additionally, Einstein made a significant impact on television with memorable performances as Marty Funkhouser in the acclaimed series Curb Your Enthusiasm and as Larry the Middleman in Arrested Development.
Einstein's career began in the realm of television variety shows, where he showcased his comedic talent on platforms such as The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. His contributions to comedy earned him two Emmy Awards for writing, alongside four additional nominations that underscored his talent.
