**Suraya-Rose Santos Biography**
Suraya-Rose Santos launched her acting career with a notable role in the South African television drama *Ayeye*, produced by The Bomb Shelter. Her film debut came in 2015 when she took on a supporting lead in the independently produced South African film *Free State*, sharing the screen with talents like Nicola Breytenbach, Andrew Govender, Leleti Khumalo, and Deon Lotz, under the direction of Salmon de Jager.
Santos gained significant recognition for her performance in the post-apocalyptic feature *Last Broken Darkness*, where she portrayed the character 'Rose.' This film, which was both written and directed by Christopher-Lee Dos Santos, also featured Sean Cameron Michael and Brandon Auret. It premiered at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida, in early 2017, where Santos participated as a speaker on the 'Women in Film & Voice' Workshop panel alongside notable figures like Daphne Zuniga and Edy Ganem.
