Erick Chavarria

Erick Chavarria, a native of Guatemala, discovered his passion for acting at the tender age of five. Growing up in a small village with his grandparents, he found joy in reenacting scenes from the soap operas he watched with his grandmother. This early love for performance set the stage for his future.

As a teenager, Erick moved to the United States, where he pursued a degree in business administration. However, his childhood ambition was reignited when he took an introductory acting class in college. Embracing the thrill and trepidation of following his dreams, he switched his major to acting and ultimately earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Performance from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Before embarking on a screen career, Erick honed his craft on stage, portraying memorable characters such as Valentin in "The Kiss of the Spider Woman" and Marmeladov in a unique adaptation of "Crime & Punishment." His transition to television brought him notable roles in acclaimed series including "Eastbound & Down," "The Bridge," "Back in The Game," and "Southland."
