As a sixth-generation oyster farmer, he began his career in 1973 and has earned recognition as "the most famous oyster farmer" in France. He is the proud owner of Joël D., a distinguished restaurant located in Bordeaux, where he serves exquisite dishes featuring salmon, foie gras, and, of course, his prized oysters.

In addition to his culinary endeavors, Dupuch has ventured into the film industry, making his acting debut in 2006.
