Emerald Lilly Fennell, born on October 1, 1985, is a multifaceted English actress, writer, and filmmaker celebrated for her outstanding contributions to film and television. She has earned a plethora of awards, including an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and multiple nominations for Primetime Emmys and Golden Globes.
Fennell initially made a mark in the film industry with her performances in period dramas like Albert Nobbs (2011), Anna Karenina (2012), and The Danish Girl (2015). She rose to greater fame through her role in the beloved BBC One series Call the Midwife, which she starred in from 2013 to 2017.
