Joseph David Keery, widely recognized by his stage name Djo, is an American actor and musician celebrated for his diverse contributions to the entertainment industry. He rose to fame through his portrayal of Steve Harrington in the acclaimed Netflix series *Stranger Things*, which aired from 2016 to 2025. Keery's impressive filmography also includes notable roles in the comedy horror film *Spree* (2020), the blockbuster *Free Guy* (2021), and a featured role in the fifth season of the crime comedy-drama *Fargo* (2023–2024).
In addition to his acting career, Keery is a talented musician. He was a founding member of the psychedelic rock band Post Animal but departed from the group in 2018 to focus on his acting career.
