Chip Coffey
Chip Coffey's journey in the performing arts began at a remarkably young age; he stepped into the world of modeling at just two years old and took on acting roles by the age of five. Over the years, he has amassed a substantial theatre background, boasting more than 150 performances on stage. His versatility has also led him to feature in a variety of local, regional, and national commercials. He earned his degree from Elmira College in Elmira, New York, where he honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed director Peg Denithorne, alongside fellow classmates including Keith MacKechnie, Theresa Valada, Janette Barber, and Merle Ginsberg.
Chip's leadership in children's theatre is noteworthy. He served as the Artistic Director at Golden Apple Children's Theatre in Sarasota, Florida, in 1978, and later held the same position at Stage Door Players in Dunwoody, Georgia, from 1990 to 1991. In 1992, he founded Abracadabra Children's Theatre at Onstage Atlanta, leading it until 1997, followed by his role as the Founder and Artistic Director of Kaleidoscope Children's Theatre at the Shakespeare Tavern from 1997 to 2000.
Currently residing northeast of Atlanta, Chip Coffey has expanded his career into the spiritual realm, working as a psychic, medium, and spiritual counselor, while also engaging in public speaking and lecturing on these topics.
