Cord McCoy

Cord Jarret McCoy, born on August 19, 1980, is a prominent figure in the world of rodeo, recognized as both a skilled stock contractor and producer. Before making his mark behind the scenes, McCoy was a professional rodeo cowboy, excelling particularly in saddle bronc riding and bull riding.

Cord gained widespread recognition as a participant on the reality television show, The Amazing Race. He and his brother, Jet McCoy, achieved notable success by securing the second place in the sixteenth season of the series. Their competitive spirit led them to return for the eighteenth season, where they finished in sixth place, and again for the 24th season, known as "The Amazing Race All-Stars," ending in fifth place.

In addition to his television ventures, Cord has made significant contributions to the sport of rodeo. He took on the role of head coach for the Oklahoma Freedom team in the PBR Team Series for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, continuing to shape the future of bull riding and rodeo. As of 2024, the team will be known as the Florida Freedom. McCoy's dedication to rodeo and reality television highlights his multifaceted career and enduring influence in both arenas.
