Lola Marois-Bigard
Lola Marois-Bigard, born in Paris around 1983, is a multifaceted French artist celebrated for her work as a singer and comedian. The daughter of a fashion photographer and a writer of Algerian heritage, Marois spent her formative years in Spain, Los Angeles, and Paris. She pursued her academic interests in literature, earning a degree with a minor in theater, as well as a DEUG in modern literature. Her passion for the performing arts led her to the Cours Florent at the Oscar Sisto Academy.
Marois embarked on her acting career at just 12 years old, showcasing her talent in over ten theatrical productions ranging from baroque to contemporary styles. She later gained recognition for her comedic performances in prestigious venues such as the Théâtre Comédia, Théâtre Hébertot, and Théâtre Saint-Georges.
In May 2011, she celebrated her marriage to fellow comedian Jean-Marie Bigard, with the ceremony officiated by the mayor of Paris's 7th arrondissement. The couple welcomed identical twins in 2013. Marois expanded her television repertoire in 2017 when she began portraying Ariane Hersant in the widely popular soap opera Plus belle la vie. Additionally, she ventured into music with the release of her pop album, Lola Marois, in Spain, further establishing her diverse artistic presence.
