Alesha Dixon

Alesha Anjanette Dixon, born on October 7, 1978, in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England, is a multifaceted English artist known for her talents as a singer, MC, songwriter, and television personality. She first gained fame as a member of the R&B girl group Mis-Teeq, which achieved remarkable success with seven UK top 10 hits and two double platinum albums, selling over 12 million records globally.

Following the group's disbandment in 2005, Alesha embarked on a solo career. Her initial foray into solo music included two singles from the album "Fired Up" in 2006, but after a disappointing reception, she parted ways with Polydor. The album later saw its release in Japan in 2008. A turning point in her career came when she won the BBC dance competition "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2007, reigniting her music journey. This victory led to the release of her second album, "The Alesha Show," in 2008, which included the re-release of her debut album featuring the single "To Love Again."
