Aino Seep (February 25, 1925 – July 8, 1982) was a distinguished Estonian soprano known for her work in opera and operetta, as well as her roles in film and theater.

Born in Tartu to Daniel and Linda Seep, Aino was raised in a family of two siblings. She completed her early education in Tartu and further pursued her passion for music at the Tartu School of Music, now recognized as the Heino Eller Tartu Music School. Under the tutelage of notable tenor Rudolf Jõks, she graduated in 1949, marking the beginning of her professional journey.

Soon after her graduation, Seep began her tenure at the Vanemuine Theatre, where she excelled as an opera singer and stage actress. Her debut role came in the same year, portraying Adele in Johann Strauss II’s operetta *Die Fledermaus*. This performance set the stage for a thriving career, leading to her memorable portrayal of Susanna in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's *The Marriage of Figaro* in 1950.

Throughout her career, Aino Seep enchanted audiences with her vocal prowess and artistic versatility, leaving an indelible mark on the Estonian cultural landscape.
