Samuel Roukin
Samuel Roukin, born on August 15, 1980, in Southport, England, is a talented actor whose passion for the performing arts emerged early in life. He attended Merchant Taylors' School in Crosby, where he actively participated in various school productions. Roukin’s dedication to acting led him to the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, from which he graduated in 2003.
Roukin's career gained significant momentum with his role in Jane Campion's acclaimed film *Bright Star*, which tells the poignant love story between 19th-century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne. His performance in the 2008 film *Happy-Go-Lucky* as the charming love interest of Poppy, played by Sally Hawkins, was particularly well-received. The film, directed by award-winning filmmaker Mike Leigh, garnered multiple accolades and recognition globally, with critics praising Roukin's compelling portrayal.
In addition to his film work, Roukin appeared as a Snatcher in the epic conclusion of the *Harry Potter* series, *Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I & II*.
