Martine Kimberley Sherrie McCutcheon, born Ponting on May 14, 1976, is a multifaceted English actress and singer. Her journey in the performing arts began at a young age when she enrolled in the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London at just 10 years old. Early on, she gained attention through various advertisements and television commercials, leading to her first significant role in the BBC children's show Bluebirds in 1989.

At 15, Martine took on the role of lead vocalist in the all-girl band Milan, which toured alongside the popular group East 17 before disbanding in April 1994. Her career took a notable turn when she received acclaim, including an Empire Award and a nomination for an MTV Movie Award.

Martine's breakout moment arrived in January 1995 when she was cast as Tiffany Raymond in the beloved BBC soap opera EastEnders.
