Mandira Bedi is a multifaceted Indian actress, fashion designer, and television presenter who rose to fame with her iconic role in the groundbreaking 1994 television series Shanti, which aired on Doordarshan, marking India’s first-ever daily soap opera.

Following her success in television, Mandira showcased her versatility through various other serials such as Aurat (on DD and Sony), Dushman (DD), and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Star Plus). She also made her mark as a television host, presenting the ICC Cricket World Cups in 2003 and 2007, the Champions Trophies in 2004 and 2006, and serving as a host for the Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 2 on Sony Max. Notably, she led the coverage of IPL Season 3 for the UK-based network ITV.
