Ray Barrett
Ray Barrett embarked on his acting journey at the young age of eleven after honing his skills in music and elocution. He made history as the first actor to be contracted by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Drama section. Barrett spent several years captivating audiences on radio in Sydney before making a successful transition to the British entertainment scene from 1958 until the mid-1970s. After this fruitful period abroad, he returned to his native Australia, where he continued to leave his mark in film and television. Throughout his career, Barrett's talent has been recognized with two prestigious Australian Film Industry (AFI) awards, celebrating his contributions as an actor.
