Tatiana Delaunay
Tatiana Delaunay, a French native with Italian heritage and a global perspective, has carved a niche for herself as a talented comedy writer and film director. Her acclaimed short film, *Have a Nice Day Forever* (2021), garnered recognition at several prestigious international festivals, including IndieLisboa, Glasgow Short Film Festival, Brest European Short Film Festival, and Brussels Short Film Festival. Following this success, Delaunay is set to release her second short film, *We’re Here for You* (2025), which has received backing from the Norwegian Film Institute.
Delaunay's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Performance Practice from Central Saint Martins and a Master’s in Theatre with a focus on directing from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Her work as a playwright has been supported by grants from The Norwegian Centre for New Playwriting and the Norwegian Arts Council, highlighting her versatility in the performing arts.
In addition to her writing and directing endeavors, Delaunay occasionally performs and has collaborated with renowned director Roy Andersson. Currently, she is in the process of developing her debut feature film, a comedic take on a contemporary female Quixote, bolstered by the Norwegian Film Institute Neo Incentive, Talent Norway, and Viken Filmsenter. With a unique voice and a commitment to storytelling, Delaunay continues to make significant contributions to the world of film and theatre.
