Gemma Bissix
Gemma Bissix, born on June 6, 1983, in St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey, Surrey, is a talented English actress who began her acting career at the tender age of nine. She has gained significant recognition for her roles in popular soap operas, particularly as Clare Bates in "EastEnders" from 1993 to 1998 and again in 2008, and as Clare Devine in "Hollyoaks" from 2006 to 2007, with subsequent appearances in 2009 and 2013. Her portrayal in "Hollyoaks" earned her two British Soap Awards, highlighting her impact within the genre.
Beyond her soap opera fame, Bissix has showcased her versatility by participating in various television shows and competing in the 2009 season of "Dancing on Ice." She has also graced the stage in numerous pantomimes, further displaying her range as a performer.
Growing up as the eldest of five siblings in Elmbridge, Surrey, Bissix experienced her parents' divorce at the age of 11. She pursued her education at Thames Ditton Middle School and Hinchley Wood School.
