Xavier Babudar
Xavier Michael Babudar, popularly recognized by his alias "ChiefsAholic," gained fame as a devoted superfan of the Kansas City Chiefs, marked by his distinctive full-body wolf costume at NFL games. His vibrant enthusiasm not only made him a beloved figure among Chiefs supporters but also helped him amass a significant following on social media platforms. However, his meteoric rise to fame took a dramatic turn when he became embroiled in criminal activities.
Between 2022 and 2023, authorities connected Babudar to a series of bank robberies that spanned several states, revealing a shocking double life. Prosecutors uncovered that he had embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars, laundering the stolen money through casinos to fund his travel, gambling, and game attendance. Ultimately, Babudar pleaded guilty to numerous federal charges, including robbery, money laundering, and transporting stolen goods. As a result, he was sentenced to 17½ years in federal prison.
The legal repercussions did not end there; in 2025, he faced an additional 32-year sentence for an armed robbery committed in Oklahoma. Furthermore, he was ordered to pay multimillion-dollar restitution to one of his victims, marking a stark contrast to his previous life as a celebrated sports enthusiast. Babudar’s story serves as a cautionary tale about the perils of fame and the consequences of criminal behavior.
