Mait Malmsten

Mait Malmsten, born on September 6, 1972, is a prominent actor from Estonia. He hails from a lineage steeped in the performing arts; his father is the renowned actor Rein Malmsten. Additionally, his family legacy includes his paternal grandparents, the actors Franz and Eva Malmsten, as well as his great-uncle Hugo Malmsten and great-aunt Lydia Bock, both of whom were also involved in acting.

Since 1993, Mait has been a dedicated performer at the Estonian Drama Theatre, where he has made significant contributions to the stage. In addition to his theatrical work, he has appeared in a variety of films and television productions, including the popular series "Wikmani poisid."

Mait shares his life with actress Harriet Toompere, and together they have welcomed two sons, Franz and Hugo, who have followed in their parents’ footsteps and pursue careers in television and film.
