Catherine Dyer
Catherine Dyer, a talented actress and producer, was born in New York and spent her formative years in Atlanta, Georgia. Her passion for performance led her to graduate from the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Dyer quickly made her mark in the industry, engaging in a variety of projects across commercials, voice-overs, television, theater, and film. In 1991, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she continued to showcase her versatility, notably with her one-woman show, "Sorry to Keep You Waiting."
The 1994 Northridge earthquake prompted a significant career shift for Dyer, steering her towards the behind-the-scenes world of production. She became a Development Assistant for Lifetime Television's Original Movies Department, where she honed her skills in television production. In 1997, she returned to New York City, taking on the role of Programming Coordinator for A&E Television's acclaimed series "Biography." Her dedication and expertise eventually led her to the position of Manager of Documentary Programming and Supervising Producer, where she oversaw more than 250 hours of television annually, contributing to an Emmy nomination in 2003.
In recent years, Dyer has returned to her acting roots, appearing in a variety of commercials, television shows, films, and theatrical productions, showcasing her enduring talent and adaptability in the entertainment industry.
