James Adam Reuben
James Adam Reuben, widely known as Jamie Reuben, has established himself as a prominent figure in finance and sports management. In April 2010, his family's venture, Reuben Brothers, acquired a stake in Metro Bank, leading to his appointment as a non-executive director in October 2011. However, he stepped down from the board in February 2015.
In 2011, Reuben co-founded Melbury Capital alongside financier Andrew Danenza, where he plays a key role in its operations, with the Advisory Board chaired by his brother, David Reuben. His political engagements include serving as chairman for Boris Johnson’s campaign during the 2012 London mayoral election, and he has notably contributed £816,000 to the Conservative Party, where he is also a member of the Advisory Board for major donors.
In May 2018, Jamie took on the role of managing director after his brothers, David and Simon Reuben, purchased the Burlington Arcade for £300 million. Later that year, on October 8, he joined the board of Queen's Park Rangers, a London-based football club.
As a principal of Reuben Brothers, Jamie has overseen several high-profile projects, including luxury developments in Grosvenor Square and properties in Italy, along with the boutique hotel La Residence in Mykonos. In March 2021, he became co-chair of Centrepoint's Growth Board, a charity focused on homelessness. His most notable achievement came in October 2021, when he became a co-owner of Newcastle United Football Club, partnering with PCP Capital Partners and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.
