Jazz Lam Tsz-Sin
Jazz Lam Tsz-Sin (Chinese: 林子善), often known as Alex Lam, hails from the neighborhoods of Sha Tin and Tuen Mun, where he grew up alongside his brother, who serves as a police officer. His parents were well-regarded figures in Tuen Mun, contributing to their local community's vibrancy. Lam's early education included attending Chung Hom Court and Shing Yuen Court Kindergarten, followed by a stint at the Buddhist Wong Memorial School.
At just 16 years old, Lam made his mark in the entertainment industry by appearing in the film "The King of Comedy," directed by the iconic Stephen Chow. In this role, he portrayed "Hong Ye," a character from the underworld, which showcased his distinctive voice and set the stage for his future career.
In 2005, Lam took a significant step in his entrepreneurial journey by co-founding "STAR-06" with five partners. Each investor contributed over 10,000 yuan to establish the company, which focuses on nighttime entertainment and events. Through his ventures, Jazz Lam has not only made a name for himself in the entertainment realm but has also demonstrated a keen business acumen, contributing to the nightlife culture in Hong Kong. His multifaceted career continues to evolve, leaving a lasting impact on both the arts and the business landscape.
