David Reynolds embarked on his writing journey in 1993 as one of the pioneering writers for NBC's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien." After contributing to over 400 episodes, he relocated to Los Angeles in 1995, where he secured a position at Walt Disney Feature Animation, working on the film "Tarzan." It was during this period that he encountered Pixar Animation Studios, which engaged him to assist in the development of their second feature film, "A Bug's Life," shortly before the release of "Toy Story." This collaboration resulted in a contract with Pixar, and for the following six years, Reynolds played a significant role in nearly every Disney-Pixar animated film and production. His writing credits include the screenplay for "The Emperor's New Groove," as well as co-writing "Finding Nemo."
