Clare Wren, born Helen Claire Wren on May 4, 1962, is an accomplished American actress renowned for her role as Rachel Dunn in the television series *The Young Riders*. Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, she grew up in Texarkana, Arkansas, in a family that included a doctor father and a pianist mother, alongside three brothers.

Wren’s early years were marked by a strong dedication to gymnastics, where she trained at the esteemed Olympia Training Center in Louisiana. However, a knee injury during her senior year of high school catalyzed her shift in focus. She enrolled at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she spent her first year on crutches recuperating from significant knee surgery. This challenging time sparked her passion for theater, leading her to immerse herself in the performing arts. Wren ultimately graduated with a degree in psychology alongside her Professional Acting Program credentials.

After completing her education, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting, where she gained recognition for her talent.
