Thomas Aiden Turgoose, born on February 11, 1992, is a distinguished English actor celebrated for his compelling portrayal of Shaun Fields in the critically acclaimed film *This Is England* (2006). This role not only marked his acting debut but also led to his return as Shaun in the subsequent television adaptations: *This Is England '86* (2010), *This Is England '88* (2011), and *This Is England '90* (2015).

Turgoose's early career saw him featured in the BBC drama *The Innocence Project* (2006), where he played Dizzy, a young boy under the mentorship of Adam Solomons, portrayed by Luke Treadaway. Although the series was short-lived, Turgoose's performance was noteworthy. In 2008, he teamed up again with director Shane Meadows for the film *Somers Town*, sharing the screen with Polish actor Piotr Jagiello. Their performances earned them the "Best Actor in a Narrative Feature" award at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. He also starred in *The Scouting Book for Boys*, further showcasing his versatility.

In addition to his film work, Turgoose made appearances on the quiz show *Pointless Celebrities*, including notable partnerships with actors Vas Blackwood and Tyger Drew-Honey.
