Jamie Clayton

Jamie Clayton, born on January 15, 1978, is an accomplished American actress and model renowned for her impactful performances in both television and film. She gained significant recognition for her role as Nomi Marks in Netflix's groundbreaking series *Sense8*, where she portrayed a trans woman navigating complex themes of identity and connection. Clayton further showcased her talent as Sasha Booker in the third season of *Designated Survivor* and Tess Van De Berg in Showtime's *The L Word: Generation Q*. In 2022, she took on the iconic role of Pinhead in the reboot of *Hellraiser*.

Raised in San Diego, California, Clayton comes from a family of professionals; her father, Howard, practiced law as a criminal defense attorney, while her mother, Shelley, is an event planner. At the age of 19, she relocated to New York City to launch her career as a makeup artist.

In 2010, she co-hosted and served as a makeup artist on VH1’s *TRANSform Me*, the network's inaugural makeover series.
