Narciso Busquets

Narciso Busquets (September 8, 1931 – December 14, 1989) was a prominent Mexican actor renowned for his versatile contributions across film, television, theater, and voice-over work. His career in acting began at a young age in 1937, when he emerged as a child actor and notably played one of Cantinflas' sons in the classic film *Ahí está el detalle*.

Busquets showcased his exceptional dubbing skills by lending his voice to the renowned Japanese actor Toshirō Mifune in the acclaimed film *Animas Trujano*, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. His impressive filmography includes significant roles in productions such as *El gallo de oro*, starring alongside Ignacio López Tarso and Lucha Villa, *Los cuatro Juanes* with Luis Aguilar, and *Pedro Páramo* featuring John Gavin. He also appeared in *La soldadera* with Silvia Pinal and *Valente Quintero* alongside Antonio Aguilar and Saby Kamalich.

In television, Busquets made his debut in 1961 and maintained a consistent presence until 1988. One of his notable performances was as José María Morelos in the historical telenovela *Los caudillos* in 1968. In addition to acting, he directed the film *Sin fortuna* in 1980, further solidifying his legacy in the Mexican entertainment industry. Throughout his career, Busquets left an indelible mark, becoming a cherished figure in Mexican cinema and television.
