Len Collin

Len Collin, born in London to Irish parents, holds dual citizenship, with his mother hailing from Easkey, County Sligo, a lineage he credits for his narrative talent. He honed his craft as a professional actor at the Arts Educational Drama School in London and later earned a Master’s degree in Production and Direction from the Huston School of Film and Digital Media in Galway, Ireland.

Collin's foray into playwriting began in the early 1990s, with his acclaimed play "Box," which is set against the backdrop of the first Gulf War and World War I, garnering attention from television producers and paving the way for his transition into screenwriting. In 2010, he made waves with the award-winning Irish web series "Covies," which he wrote, directed, and produced. His directorial efforts continued to shine with the feature film "Sanctuary," which won him the Best Director award at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2017.

In addition to his creative pursuits, Collin is a dedicated advocate for disability rights and serves as a university lecturer, sharing his expertise with aspiring filmmakers. He is a family man, married with three children, balancing his professional commitments with a rich personal life.
