Jay Abdo

Jay Abdo is a multifaceted Syrian actor whose talents extend into the realms of music and theater. Born in Syria, he first pursued a degree in civil engineering, graduating from the University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania in 1986. However, his passion for the arts led him to shift gears, and he later earned a diploma in theatrical acting from the esteemed Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 1991.

Abdo began his artistic journey in Syria, honing his craft on local stages before making the leap to Hollywood, where he adopted the professional name Jay.
