Vishka Asayesh
Vishka Asayesh, born on November 7, 1972, in Tehran, is a multifaceted Iranian artist renowned for her work as an actress, set designer, and art director. After earning a degree in set design from the United Kingdom, she ventured into various artistic realms, including sculpture, showcasing her creations at the Etemad Gallery in Tehran in 2012.
She gained immense popularity for her compelling performance as a femme fatale in the acclaimed television series "Imam Ali." Vishka's acting prowess has earned her three nominations for the prestigious Fajr Film Festival's Best Actress award, ultimately winning the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2011 for her role in "No Men Allowed." This marked a significant milestone as she became the first female to receive this honor for a comedic role at the festival.
Her notable filmography includes hits such as "No Men Allowed" (2011), "Sperm Whale" (2015), "Me and Sharmin" (2017), "The Good, the Bad & the Corny" (2017), and "Sly" (2018).
