Ty Ippolito

Tyler Lito, known professionally as Ty Ippolito, hails from Toronto, Canada, where his artistic inclinations were nurtured from a young age. With a mother who cherished classic films and a father who was a rock and roll musician, Ty developed a deep passion for performance. His journey into acting began unexpectedly during his time at film school, where he participated in his peers' projects. This experience compelled him to leave school and fully dedicate himself to acting.

Ippolito initially gained experience working in the Locations and Set PA departments under the Directors Guild of Canada, contributing to high-profile films and television series. This exposure allowed him to learn from some of the industry's most distinguished actors and directors. After securing representation with Hero Artists Agency, his early credits included utilizing his background in Pro-am Drifting and his role as an Audi Sport Specialist, which led to work in car commercials and high-octane chase scenes.

His breakout role came when he served as a stunt driver and body double for Grant Bowler in a thrilling green-screen car chase for the pilot episode of SyFy's *Defiance*. Since then, Ty has carved out a niche as an indie writer and producer with his company, Driven Pictures, focusing on car-centric narratives. While he is recognized for his work behind the wheel, he remains committed to his primary passion: acting, earning him the title of the “poor man’s Paul Walker.”
